People & Culture Intern

Job description

As a People and Culture Intern, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and engaging work environment for our talented team. This role is multifaceted, encompassing responsibilities in engagement planning and execution, onboarding tasks, office management, and various day-to-day administrative functions. You will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the company culture and supporting our team as we continue to scale.

Toku is currently getting into a scale-up mode. We want to continue creating momentum for our products in the APAC regions and helping customers with their communications needs. Employee Engagement:

  • Collaborate with the People and Culture team to develop and implement engaging activities, events, and initiatives.
  • Assist in planning team-building activities, social events, and recognition programs.
  • Gather feedback and insights to continually enhance the employee experience.


  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions, prepare onboarding materials, and assist with necessary documentation.
  • Act as a point of contact for new employees, addressing inquiries and facilitating integration into the company culture.

Office Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
  • Assist in the coordination of office events and gatherings.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the People and Culture team as needed.
  • Manage HR-related documentation and maintain accurate records.
  • Handle general inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR software is a plus.
